I always get a little freaked out when people bring their dogs on shoots.  I have a hard enough time wrangling toddlers, let alone ginormous horse-sized canines.  But this was a breeze!  The kids and the canine were very well behaved and super sweet I might add:)  I did this shoot with a wonderful friend who also has a passion for f-stops and iso and we had an awesome time with this adorable little family.

It’s very obvious that I haven’t blogged in a while.  ok ok, a loooong time.  I’ve been busy!  Give a girl a break.  So now everything I blog about will bring me wonderful memories, and this shoot did exactly that.  I met these guys picking up pies at a fundraiser, and knew I’d have a blast:)  Thank you guys for putting up with my craziness!!  “let’s just sit here in the middle of the road.  I’ll watch for cars.”  Fun times.  Here’s a peek at what went on:

I will be offering twinkle lights mini sessions on Friday, Dec 2nd!  For $25, you will get a 20 minute session for up to 3 children and a cd with 1-3 photos per child.  (Only 1 child at a time).  If there is enough interest, I will add a 2nd date.  Email (jete@devisser.ca) or call (604-824-0484) today to book your time slot!

I think one of the awesomest things about having kids is having more than 1.  Having one is such a blessing, and it changes your priorities and makes you a better person, but watching the dynamic between 2 kids growing up is SO MUCH FUN.  They love eachother one minute, but can freak out at eachother at the drop of a hat.  It’s busy, and it can be frustrating, but watching them grow up, and care for eachother is a feeling like no other.  I felt that so strongly with these kids.  The boys are gonna protect this little girl for all they’re worth.  And that’s priceless.  Much love N&R!!

I LOVE all of these! My absolute favorite, though, is the one of the 3 kids in the field… the boys kissing 'S' head. LOVE!!!ReplyCancel

I booked this shoot with a “distant” cousin of mine by email.  I recognized her married name, but didn’t really think I knew her husband.  Well, when we got to the shoot, it turns out that he used to be a friend of mine when I used to work in Rosedale at the gas station!!  What a great impromptu little reunion!! :)  You guys were so much fun, and your little guy is adorable!  And man, did he ever keep me hopping…

Thanks for looking!!
