Chilliwack Engagement Photographer │ Active Airstrip

This was such a fun session!! The ridiculously lovely and equally sweet Malin is from Germany and came here to work which is how her and Jason met. She only had a work visa, so had a to return to Germany, but the two kept in touch and formed a strong relationship. They got engaged and set their wedding date for August of 2013. Malin had planned to visit during the Christmas holidays and we scheduled in the engagement session. Well, Jason texted me a month or two ago, and said that because of immigration rules (you can’t begin working until you’ve been married for a year), they decided it would make a lot more sense to actually get married at that time! So they had an intimate ceremony at the gorgeous Rowena’s Inn surrounded by immediate family in the morning, and we did their engagement session in the afternoon! That was a first!! 🙂 They will still be having their big shindig in August, and I can’t wait for that! We had a blast checking out all the fun nooks and crannies of this amazing location and they were seriously up for anything. I’m loving so many of these shots, and I hope you guys are too! Congratulations once again, and I hope you’re enjoying your little getaway!!
