Chilliwack Engagement Photographer │ Can you believe?

That these were taken 20 minutes away from my house?? I’m amazed every day about how amazingly GORGEOUS this place is!! I got an email from Jorie last Monday asking if I was available for an engagement session that Saturday – how happy was I that I could do it!! I asked if they’d be willing to meet at 8am and take advantage of the gorgeous morning light and they were totally game. Ahhh, if I could shoot every session first thing in the morning or late in the evening, I’d be a happy chick 🙂 These two are beyond adorable and I’m SO bummed that I can’t shoot their summer wedding!!

There are very few people who are relaxed and natural in front of the camera. Most people are pretty nervous that they won’t know what to do in front of the camera, but it’s part of my job to guide you into poses that make you look natural and relaxed, even if you aren’t necessarily feeling that way. I find most people take about 10 minutes or so to settle in and realize that it’s really not that uncomfortable after all. I like to keep sessions totally chill, and we’re usually laughing about something most of the time. It’s a good time people!! So don’t be nervous 🙂 Annnnyways, these two belong to the 3.5% of people who don’t need much guidance at all. I totally felt like a creepy paparazzi!! They just hung out, did their thing, and we got some amazing shots!! So stoked to share this session with you. Jorie & Colin, wishing you the very best as you plan for your wedding and I hope your wedding day is beyond fabulous… Which, I have no doubt, it will be 🙂River-rocks-water-couple-engagementhazy-light-sunrise-engagementforest-flags-canadian-american-engagementforest-ferns-trees-couple-engagementcreek-woods-engagement
