Chilliwack Engagement Photographer │ Snow, horses & bling. What more could we ask for?

Wow, pretty sure that was the longest title ever for one of my posts. I feel like I’m waxing so eloquent today. I’m probably not though. i don’t think eloquent has ever been used to describe me. I’ve been called nuts, and witty (that was a good one, it was just last night), and I’ve had people rendered speechless before, but I’m pretty sure I’ve never been described as eloquent. Maybe someone will after reading this post! Cuz it’s gonna be good, I can feel it.
But horses, snow… Let’s get to it! I was SUPER DUPER FRAGILISTICALLY excited when Agatha mentioned they wanted to take out a couple of Herman’s horses on this shoot. Like every other young girl, I was totally obsessed with horses, and I’m quite sure that hasn’t completely left my system. So eager I was! Plus there was snow on the ground, which is such a rarity in this place I almost didn’t know what to do with myself. I hate being cold, so I had myself right decked out – sweater, scarf, winter coat, toque, knee-high socks, boots and gloves with 3 fingertips cut off (2 on the right hand – shutter speed and aperture, and 1 on the left – iso) heehee. They must’ve wondered who exactly they had hired when I showed up 🙂 But we had such a blast. These two have such a natural affection for eachother it was positively delicious to photograph them 🙂 So this is a bit of a long post… Thanks again you two, I had a blast!
These horses were so hilarious – the baby was a little over-excited about being outside, and rather than risking a good solid kick in the arse, Herman decided to put him (her?) away after a shot or two. While they were walking back to the stable, mama decided she was stoked to be outside too, and went for a four legs in the air roll in the snow!! You can see that shot on my facebook page
