Photography is all about memories. Capturing moments in your lives that you can look back on later, and hopefully help you to remember in a more tangible way, the way things were. This is especially true for this lovely family, who have sold their family home and moved to another part of town. It’s hard to leave behind all those memories, those get togethers, those events, those milestones, and start over somewhere new. We had a fun night strolling around their property, taking photos in all different locations so they could remember every nook and cranny. You may remember Josie from her awesome session in Vancouver. This is her family, and she had a vested interest in coming up with a unique location besides their home. Well, I’d say she did her job, and she did it well! I love that staircase! And then we headed to a nearby field for some more traditional shots. I hope the reno is going ok at the new house and that you guys can start making new memories soon!
I’m a sucker for the odd sunflare photo 🙂
I promise you, they are entirely normal. Normal being subjective… My sense of normal may be a little different than yours…
LOVE the stairs!!
Lorenzo’s shot took a few tries. Apparently “blue steel” is not in his every day repertoire.
And of course, some sunny, grassy backlit shots – these make my heart happy 🙂
