Chilliwack Portrait Photographer │ Elsie

I first met Elsie when I shot her adorable family at the beginning of this year. We totally hit it off. As I mentioned on facebook, this girl is equal parts hilarious, quirky, wildly creative and passionate. She is constantly trying new things, and when she does, she attacks it with a vengeance. She is an amazing landscape photographer and has been hugely influenced by the work of CJ Kale & Nick Selway at Lava Light Galleries and Nolan Nitschke of The Sierra Light Gallery. She recently had the opportunity to go to Hawaii and do a 14 hour (yes, those are consecutive hours) workshop with Nick Selway. As she says, “It pushed my physical limits, challenged my fear of heights, and I came home with photographs I never imagined I’d ever take!” And that kinda sums her up in a nutshell. She’s inspired by something, and does something about it. This girl is living her dreams people!! Don’t be afraid to do something that scares you. You have no idea the impact it could have on your life!! Be inspired, and check out her website and her amazing galleries, or just click here to check out her stunning shots from her Hawaiian adventure!
Well, as it turns out, Elsie also has this knack for web design! She will be launching her new website, the Teal Turtle, very soon and I can’t wait to see where she takes it. So if you’re looking for an insanely creative designer to launch your new or existing business contact her ASAP!!! She contacted me for some profile shots of her with her Mac for her new site, and we spent a ridiculous amount of our session chatting and laughing it up. Elsie, you are a stunning person, inside and out. Love you girl.
This kind of light makes me the happiest photographer in ze voooorld.

Are Macs reeeeallly that much better?  come on now…  😉

Elsie saw that shot on the right that I did for another client, and felt it suited her quirky personality perfectly, so we went for it!!

Haha, cutest mug shot ever 🙂

These shots make me all warm and fuzzy inside.  Love this location, the light, and my beautiful subject matter 😉
