Langley Engagement Photographer │ Rain?

Rain got’s NOTHING on us. Matt & Lisa and the ridiculously well-behaved Ace rocked this engagement session, despite the rain! We had a great time strolling the idyllic streets of Fort Langley. This little town provides such a variety of locations, from a train station, to cedar beams, to modern metal cables, to quaint coffee shops. And we used all of it! I’d never been to Fort Langley before, I know, it’s kind of crazy, so it was a fun challenge for me to look for interesting shots on the fly. Matt & Lisa were up for anything and I love how laidback they were about the whole session. I just recently purchased a flash (I was renting them for weddings up until now) and the Pocketwizard Flex TT5, Mini TT1, and the AC3 Zone Controller. This whole little setup is so cool! I love learning new things, and can’t wait to see what kind of awesomeness we’ll be able to create with these things! I know most of you are probably like, huh, what? Or already just browsing through the photos… 🙂 Maybe one day (once I actually know how to use them to their potential) I’ll write a post just about them 🙂 I used these 2 as guinea pigs, and tried it out for the first time – I LOVE how it created a halo of light around their hair, and lit up those raindrops! FUN STUFF!! Their wedding is going to be an absolute BLAST, and I can’t WAIT!!
