Melissa (you might remember her from my one and only styled shoot) had said right from day 1 that she wanted to use her lime green cruiser bike in her engagement photos, and I was totally game for that for obvious reasons. Well then a few weeks before the session, she had gone for a hike up Teapot, and found a gorgeous spot that she would love to have some of the photos nearby! Well, I was totally game for that too, because I knew which spot she was talking about, and always wanted to shoot someone there! But the whole prospect of hiking for 10 minutes with like, 40lbs of gear kinda got lost in translation. But i, along with the ridiculously sweet MJ, from Sunset Sail Photography, hoofed it up the hill with big smiles and absolutely NO hard feelings, and got ourselves set up while we waited for Melissa and Jeremy to arrive. They showed up a few minutes later, WITH the bike. haha!! I hadn’t thought we were going to mix the two ideas together!! I had myself a lovely little giggle, and then got down to the business of creating some AMAZING images for them. I vetoed the bike in the forest idea, and we ended up going down to Main Beach at Cultus for those. I’m in love with all of these images, and absolutely can’t wait for their summer wedding!!!
Here is part 1 – in the forest
