Vancouver Portrait Photographer │ Josie!!

I’ve been looking forward to this shoot for a while. Josie is this ridiculously beautiful, insanely talented, quirky, fun and hilarious person who wanted to book a shoot with me to celebrate graduating from 4 years of Interior Design at Kwantlen . Obviously she has a love for architecture and design so she really wanted to incorporate that into some of her shots. So we headed out for an evening in Vancouver!! We had a gorgeous night, and had a hilarious time running around, trying to get the pay by phone meters to work, being accosted by a homeless man who wanted to tell us all about the area, and how he had a black belt and that we just needed to stand still and “listen!” for a minute, and getting watched doing a jump shot in the middle of Granville Street! So. Much. Fun! This shoot brought me out of a comfort zone a bit, since I’m so used to shooting in nature! There are so many more distracting elements, and it’s hard to know which lens to use in each situation. But Josie was totally patient with me as I tried out some different things, and I’m STOKED about how they turned out! Obviously, this girl can’t take a bad shot, so that part of my job was a breeze 😉
Thanks again for the awesome night, and I hope you love the pics!!

  • Ok, this one will be my favorite for awhile. First off, the one with the iron doors in front of the red doors. LOVE. Kissing a fish, sweet! Love that hair and all sexy in a parking garage. Fabulous ideas for portraits. Do you see these ideas when you get there or have you staked it out prior to the shoot? I usually get my ideas when I’m there. She looks spunky, sweet and sassy! Great images!!! Almost forgot, The hat, to die for!ReplyCancel
